Outram Ya Hua Rou Gu Cha



I’m always a big fans of Chinese cuisine and apparently I am so in love with the Bak Kut Teh. Ya Hua is my first choice among all the Bak Kut The place in Singapore, their Bak Kut Teh soup is the white pepper kind which is just nice for me.

Yesterday morning I went to Ya Hua to have the breakfast with my family. The service are very prompt and decent as there is less crowd in the morning.

There actually provide the choice of lean meat or meat with fats, and we decided to choose the meat with some fats as the lean meat is kind of hard to chew and we do not want to consume with too much fat too.
There taste is as good as I tasted before and quite honestly they never disappoint me in their food, not once!

Braised pork trotters


My husband and I loves this particular dish and it is a must-order dish everytime we went for Bak Kut Teh. The fatty meat to lean meat ratio is perfect as we like our trotters to have slightly more lean meat to chew on while a reasonable amount of fatty meat to intensify the taste.

Yio Teo ( deep fried dough fritter )


Their Yio Teo is the best accompanies to our succulent Bak Kut Teh soup and dish. It's perfect because it soaks up the soup and yet provides a greasy addition.

All in all, the dishes were very satisfying and my family members are glade that we have this good meal to start a beautiful morning. Definitely a place I would return again in near future.

  1. Yummylicious.... my favourite bak kut teh stall with the right attitude and fantastic taste. Usually eats there at least once a month ^^
