Lei Garden Restaurant is definitely a long history of restaurant. We still remember the extremely popular Chilled Mango Sweetener with Grape Fruit and Sago has made its debut in our Singapore Branch back in 1987.Nowadays it becomes a most famous dessert in the world!
Today I am so happened to pass by to have lunch here with my colleague, and I got to tell you that their standard has never dropped once for each visits of mine. We have order quite some varieties of dish and honestly none of them has disappointed us.
Chicken Soup Dumpling
This is not a dish that can regularly be found in Lei Garden as the chicken soup need to be cook for more than 4 hours and there is limited serving for each time. We are so lucky to get to order and taste this heaven-liked dish. The soup itself is the perfection in my opinion as I never taste any other chicken soup that better than this. The dumplings are very delectable as the chicken soup infused into it.
The skin is very crispy and the meat are unbelievably juicy and tender, it is rare to find roasted goose around as every place sell mainly roasted duck or chicken, and Lei Garden serves one of the best roasted goose around.
Barbecued Roasted Pork
This is one of the signature dish of Lei Garden Restaurant, although it is common to be found anywhere, but Lei Garden prepare it with literally flawlessly. There are no burn or over roasted part, in fact the portion they serves is just right and mouthful with every bite.
Deep Fired Bean curd Sheet Roll with Dried Conpoy
It tastes as good as it look, generous fills with crisp beancurd. It isn’t oily as well thus every bites makes me hunger for more.
Boiled Shark’s Fin with Pure Chicken Stock
The shark’s fins are prominent in this soup and it tastes very fresh. The soup itself is refreshing yet flavorful.
Steamed Live Bamboo Clam with Minced Garlic
I am not a fan of clam any other creature with shell, however this dish has made me changed my perception and further more craving for more. The flesh are very tender and it doesn’t smell funny at all, garlic must have been doing a great job here for making the clam taste so good.
Braised King Conpoy with Wild Mushroom in Abalone Soup
The king conpoy makes a great combination with the abalone soup although it is less luxurious compare to abalone, nonetheless they braised it into a very aromatic piece of food art.
I would definitely return to Lei Garden Restaurant again to taste the finest Dim Sum on the island as well as their exceptional customer services.
