Thanying restaurant at the Amara Singapore is well known as the pioneer of serving royal Thai cuisine in Singapore for quite some time. I did not have the chance to pay a visit until a lunch meeting with my customers yesterday. I'm impressed by their interior design and decoration with the royal design, my first thought for this restaurant i first went was like having lunch in the royal palace.
Considering this place as the fine Thai dining, their services are very prompt and efficient which made myself feel like a part of royal family too, simply said they made me feel like a queen. As this is my first time here, the dish ordering task has to leave to my customer who apparently a regular guest here.
Tom Yam Goong
This bowl of luscious is full of fresh ingredient and make is very flavorful. Every bites are very satisfying and more importantly the soup isn’t too spicy and it is just perfect for me.
Peek Gai Sod Sai (Boneless Chicken Wing stuffed with Minced Chicken and Thai herb)
This is a signature of Thanying. While I am wondering how great could this be as many people are complimenting on it, the first bite took my breath away! It is indeed a heavenly piece of chicken wing, perhaps the best stuffed chicken wing that I tasted before.
Kaeng Keow Wan Gai (green chicken curry)
A decent green chicken curry and it is suitable for someone who prefers sweeter curry than hot curry. The taste is slightly flat in my opinion, but nonetheless it is a delectable dish.
Khow Ob Nam-Liaeb
Fried Rice with Black Olive and Minced Chicken in Claypot.
This dish really spices me up and it is very appetizing. I love the way how they cook the rice with all those ingredients and make it fragrant and absolutely tasty.
Overall it is a very positive and delightful experience from Thanying. The ambience is one of the main factor I give this restaurant a 5 stars rate. I will definitely bring friends and family to enjoy this elegant and classy fine Thai restaurant.
