A memorable taste of the authentic Tonkatsu at ION Orchard # Food Blogger

When I first knew that Ginza Bairin had a branch in Singapore, I was extremely delighted! A few years back I had been to Japan and tried it, the taste was unforgettable and I wish I have a chance to enjoy it again. The other brands that I tried which serves Tonkatsu as well doesn't have any good impression. The pork cutlet was unique and I believe no one else can compete. They have their secret techniques which I will reveal in the video. 

Established since 1927, Tonkatsu Ginza Bairin is a Tokyo Ginza-based specialty Tonkatsu (breaded, deep-fried pork cutlet) restaurant offering a variety of signature dishes that has been passed down for 3 generations.
Back in Japan, Ginza Bairin is the very first specialty Tonkatsu restaurant in Ginza, Tokyo that has accelerated popularity with its unique home-made Tonkatsu sauce and recipes created by its founder Nobukatsu Shibuya.
One of his most famous creations for Ginza Bairin is the Katsu Sandwich. The founder actually thought of replacing grains with bread to produce something to eat that is filling. The bread is so soft that complements very well with the pork. It also comes with the Japanese mustard sauce to make it more appetizing. 
Other specialty dish includes the Demiglace Sauce Hamburg that is newly introduced. The minced pork is chopped to fine bits and is easy to consume. Drizzled with the home made sauce, it is hard not to finish up everything. All Tonkatsu and special Tonkatsu sauce served here remain true to its original recipe.
